One of the Drs' pages linked from the PCOS board, has a suggestion to do "carb loading" the 3 days before an Insulin/Glucose test to make the results more effective. He described carb loading as 100 grams of carbs the 3 days before, which he described as easily 2 candy bars a day, then come in fasting for the test.
