Hi Cathy and Marian When I first went to a Endocrinologist 2 years ago, he gave me, Glucophage, Rezulin, Aldactone and Desogen. He said I couldn't take the Aldactone without the BCP, because if I got pregnant while on it, it could cause birth defects. Then when I go to the pharmacist to fill all 4, the pharamcist comes out and says she needs to warn me that taking the glucophage or rezulin can cause the BCP to be ineffective. So I ended up not taking the Aldactone, and I only take the desogen (BCP) when I need to cause a withdrawal bleed. I imagine you are totally confused now as I was. Cindi
