That'a what some people on the list are saying, and apparently that's happened with a few, but I've now been told by 2 doctors that my results were nowhere close on the fasting. True, some doctors are not informed and are reluctant to tell you, but I believe since my second opinion came from "family" he would have been honest if he didn't know or if he felt the test would be worth it at all...I remember my RE had said that he would have sent me for the GTT if my ratio was higher. I guess, listen a bit to your body. I don't have the other I believe major sign of insulin intolerance..weight gain. I watch what I eat, but I wouldn't say I low carb and I've always been able to control my weight (although I could stand to lose about 15 pounds) :)
