Hi,

I can certainly relate...it's frustrating to be almost 36 and I still have this problem..! I have had moderately good success keeping my acne controlled with Orthotricyclen and Retin A. (In the past, I have tried two courses of Accutane, Cleocin, and many years of antibiotics). A friend of mine uses Orthotricyclen, Cleocin, and Spironolactone. Hope this helps.

I have now been on 2000 mg/day of metformin/glucophage for three months and my acne has not improved. I am getting so frustrated..anyone have any recommendations on how much longer I need to wait or what else can I try? (I have already been on accutane, antibiotics, retin a, clecoin).
