I know I have been on an off anemic for years due to heavy bleeding when I finally had a period, even if it was an "incomplete" one. I finally had a D&C in early August because of lining build up, and it has taken me until now to feel better because I was so anemic. I just started take Met, but I feel so much better than I did than when I was anemic. I couldn't even walk a flight of stairs! The is not enough red blood cells in an anemic person to carry oxygen to all the body parts, so you tire very easily and get winded. Depending on how anemic you are depends on your fatigue level.
