Hi Natalie, Yes, I experienced these things, too. I found I had to increase the dosage VERY slowly. My doc first prescribed 500 mg 1 time a day for three days then said to increase to 2 times a day. This was way too fast for me. I was extremely nauseated so I stayed at the 500 mg for almost two weeks then increased to 2 times a day for another 2 weeks, and now I take 850mg in the a.m. and 500mg at night (Soon that will also go up to 850mg). You may want to talk with your doctor about going slowly. By going slowly, some of the side effects are still there but not as strong and they do go away. For me, it took about a week after I upped my dosages. Good luck. Keep us posted how you're doing. :)Monica
