Re: Wellbutrin (anti-depressant)

Monica and everyone, I can also say that being a mother of 2 boys ages 8 and 3 is frustration beyond belief. I'm sure most of it is hormone/stress related but there's got to be a break somewhere, huh? I am in counselling that has helped somewhat. The main reason for the counselling is that my core beliefs were corrupted because of being molested for 7 years by a neighbor. Being raised as a compliant child, I only tried to tell them once and when they didn't believe me, I gave up. I guess I figured it was somehow "normal". Anyway, I moved from depression to anger in the healing process. Dealing with the frustrations of life, especially demanding children is down right difficult! I cry so much and scream so much.

I don't have as much contact with other girlfriends as I need and I urge everyone to keep those friendships going because we all need it. You ladies on this support group are my only "out" each day besides going to work part time. Even at work, no one really talks to me......bummer if you ask me. Anyway, antidepressants do help and more so at a very low dose. I take 1/2 of the lowest dose of Celexa and it helps a lot. Too much makes me not care about anything. I have tried Zoloft, Paxil, Wellbutrin and others. Everyone responds differently and my doctor said that there is a very tiny window of meds that will help each person so it's a trial and error process until you find the one that will help. It took us 7 years to find it.

Monica, thanks again for your inspiration. My children will appreciate it. Polly
