Jeri,

After the first day of taking glucophage, i had my period for the first time in 5 months. I can't even tell ya what a relief that was, but for the next two weeks...I had my period off and on. I've been on it now for a month, and i feel so much better. I still occasionally have to make runs for the toliet, but it usually depends on what I eat. If I take the glucophage with yogurt I'm usually good to go. As far how the med has effected everything that goes with PCOS. My friend said to me yesterday, "Have you lost weight?" perhaps I have, I really don't weigh myself...she said that she could see it. The hair prob is still there and I still have to bleach. My endo told me that I probably would have to get electrolisis to get rid of hair. Hope all goes well for ya Jeri...the stomach probs will go away over time.
