Re: Fixed IR, but testosterone still high - WHY???From: Cindi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Aug 2000 20:22:33 -0500 (CDT)
Carrie Another poster had posted this link a week or two ago http://www.infertilityphysician.com/androgen/pcos.html It is very deep in medical terms, but one of the thoughts that was new to me at least, was that PCOS could be caused by a loop between the ovaries and insulin resistance or could actually begin in the adrenal glands by stimulating too much androgens or be a combination of the 2. Maybe yours is one of the combination of 2. Cindi
