Don't give up until you have tried everything and every option. I refused to go on BCP because it would inhibit the very thing I wanted most, to get pregnant. Dr. that just suggest the BCP with no other options do not understand PCOS. Find a different Dr. or ask to be referred to a endrocrinologist (spelling??) a Dr. specializing in hormone treamtment.
