Hi Sharon. This is my first time accessing this site. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since Nov.99. Probably have had this for the past 3 yrs or so. I am now 11 weeks pregnant with one baby! This is what worked for me. Clomid 150 mg, Dexamethasone 2.5 mg (for 10 days), and an injection of HCG hormone (also called Profasi). I had been on Clomid two times before without success, but we decided to try the steroid and injection. I have a question for you though....my doctor advises me to stay on the glucophage (850mg twice a day) for first trimester, and possibly on to week 28. Have you heard of this, or know anyone who has carried a pregnancy or delivered while on glucophage? Thanks alot. You can email me anytime you need to. Michelle Z.
