I took my first 500mg dose of met yesterday and about 9 hours later had
a few bouts of intense diarrhea. I took it with breakfast as ordered.
Is this the normal route after just one dose? I was so uncomfortable
yesterday that I didn't take it today. BTW I am 4 weeks post-op from a
supracervical hyster, with RSO and left ovarian drilling for severe
pelvic pain and hyperplasia (the pain is finally gone now!). I am very
insulin resistant and was offered the met to try. I didn't have to beg.
Is this the best option to treat IR? I already have GI problems and
don't really want to deal with more. Any suggestions or thoughts would
be appreciated!
