I have wondered the same thing! I asked my doctor and she said that it didn't have anything to do with it...just coincidence. She said it had more to do with my age (early 20's). I had always had long but very consistent cycles. During my pregnancy I got preeclampsia and haven't been the same since. We wanted a large family (out of the house by age 50) and so we started trying again when my son was 2 mos old. At that time, I was dx with PCOS. Right after he was born, I lost weight, but then all of a sudden it skyrocketed. Now I am fat, depressed and desperate to be pregnant. I don't really have any advice, just wanted to let you know that I am in the same boat. Good luck and if you discover anything, please post it!
