It took me seven weeks to have a period on glucphage (yeah!). Without being able to put my finger on it, I feel pretty good now. I've been on it just under three months, and the GI problems are gone. I do feel that I need a little more sleep than I used to, but that could be my three kids!!!

My doctor said that I should come back after five months on the medication, and that I should see some lessoning of the excess hair on the centerline of my body and some weight loss by then, or we would consider adding other measures at that time.
