BYN, Many of us are on Glucophage (which helps with the root problem of insulin resistance), as well as Spironolactone (which helps with hair). Some also take b/c pills but many don't recommend it. If your doctor is suggesting glucophage, take him/her up on it and stick with that doctor! It's extremely difficult for us to find doctors who will prescribe that line of treatment. Sounds like you are on the right track. For many, the glucophage will regulate their periods, others need more help. Check out http://www.pcosupport.org and other related sights for more information. Welcome to our list! We are here to help as much as possible.
