Anything over 25 is considered high for fasting insulin according to my
dr. though most people are around 5-10. As long as that's your fasting
insulin, yes that would be considered high. I tested at 37 last and he
considered that really high. He ran the same tests your dr. did. I
won't know the results though for a couple of weeks.
