Hi kb and all,
Hope you don't mind if I jump in here, too. I find that I can't
tolerate more than one drink, too. I feel the effects almost
immediately and the next day have the same headache and sick to stomach
feeling that you described. I'm staying away from it too. I'm only on
500 mg 2x a day so far. I once tried having a glass of wine about an
hour before dinner (and my second dose of MET) and seemed to tolerate it
better. For what it's worth. Just my experience. I never drank much
to begin with, I hated the way I would feel the next day (even with just
1 glass of wine), and now it's even worse. I've also read that your
chances of lactic acidosis increases if you drink while on MET. I also
read lactic acidosis is fatal in 50% of the cases - which scares the
bahjeebees out of me! :)Monica
