As for my endo, she's actually an improvement over hte last one, who was a bit of a joke (he's a specialist in men's sexual dysfunctions and was in charge of the clinical trials on cyproterone acetate for PCOS up here in Toronto way back when, a wrongheaded research decision if ever there was one, to put someone unknowledgeable about women's phys in charge). I've clearly never been in really good hands, starting in adolescence. Problem with the current endo is she always makes me feel she's being nice enough to spend 5 minutes, mostly checking my blood pressure and filling out lab requisitions. Last time, she even said she wasn't sure I had PCOS, which is really ridiculous. She's misled by the fact that I'm lean, and some of my symptoms have been masked cuz I've been on cyproterone acetate for 13 years. Anyway, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say thanks, and I'm going to give the creams and going off bcp's some serious thought. But, yeah, this stuff's SOOOO expensive to treat non-pharmaceutically. I'm a grad student up at U of Toronto (went back to do a doc a few years ago) so I know what you mean. Best -- Alina
