Alina and Kris,

I recently went to my gyn and he added the pill and casodex. He said that the casodex was fairly new in the treatment of PCOS and Insulin Resistence. (Actually I think he wants to treat the IR more than PCOS. I am of child bearing age and am on the pill for birth control. He didn't start me on that however until I started having periods on my own from first rezulin and then Glucophage. The casodex is for hirutism <sp?>

I am wonder just what the pill masks? Should I be worried if I am just on the pill for bc? I am taking ortho tri cyclen. a couple of weeks ago there was a post about tricyclen causing more cysts. I asked my Dr. about this and he said that there was less progesterin in tricyclen than in the demulen 1/50. Go figure....I am not sure what to do.

Beth
