But anyway to answer your question. Yes I have heard of inositol and I am not taking it currently. I have it here, I bought it when I heard some anecdotal evidence that people involved in the studies with the D-chiro Inositol, had been told to continue by just taking regular inositol after their participation had concluded. I had recently added CLA to my regimen, about 2 weeks ago and it has to be taken 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and I understand the Inositol should be taken the same way. I hesitate to use both at the same time, until I know if the CLA is going to do any good. By the way, at the chat with Dr Redmond a couple of weeks ago, I was able to pose the question to him, about the regular vitamin/suppliment inositol and how it compared with the D-chiro Inositol. He has been involved in some of those studies and his opinion is there is nothing available over the counter currently that has the same benefit. It still might be worth trying as it is fairly inexpensive and definitely non toxic. Just my 2 cents worth. Cindi
