hi ya mary ann do what is right for you... but from my perspective... STAY ON THE PILL!!! two years ago i was 23 years old 5'7 and 110 pounds, i went off the birth control pill and for the first three months i had no period... second three months no period AND gained 30 pounds, grew course and dark hairs on my chin, nipples, chest and belly.. developed acne... (i didn't even have acne this bad at 13!!)lost hair on my head..started producing breast milk... and worse of all... lost self esteem. let me tell you. i have had several treatments in the last two years includeing homopathic ones. and nothing helped. i am back on the pill... so far i have lost 10 pounds (with diet and excersize) but i still have all the nasty hair, acne, and of course trying despratley to recover some sence of stablility after being told of the problems i was likely to have trying to conceive (that is why i had gone off the pill in the first place) and the sudden and severe cosmetic changes. anyway... from my experience, (you may not get all these symptoms... but.. once you do...)it is VERY difficult to get rid of them.

also... i found that taking the pill.. in a way was depressing me... it was a reminder every morning of my condition, of the changes in my body and what that may mean in the future. is it possible that your "not feeling like yourself" may be something similar? and if so... your not alone :) just read some of these posts from these great ladies... they have so much to offer

take care of yourself, and keep working out... it will help both emotionally and physically
