I drink very infrequently. Maybe a glass of wine or two every other month. My RE advised me, in general, to stay away from alcohol because it could make me dehydrated. He said that an occassional glass of wine would almost certainly cause no problem for me, but I should be very careful not to drink to excess. We must NOT get drunk while on Met. It could cause severe dehydration.. or worse.
