I know this whole PCOS deal really stinks the only good thing about it is finding such wonderful people on this, although it also does let you know who has their head on straight in terms of relationships. I'm 28 and still have problems letting people get close emotionally & physically. By itself PCOS can be a real self esteem buster and so can teenagers and adults since they often times don't stop to think about what they are going to say. Hang in there and you'll be fine. Just remember that in order to have a friend you have to be one.
