Amee: I wish I could give you a supportive response, but fertility is not an issue for me as I am sterile - I had a hysterectomy and oophrectomy (uterus & ovaries removed) when I was 26 due to advanced endometriosis (I am now 42). I'm taking the Avandia to try and get my insulin resistance under control to prevent the potential future health problems of this disease - heart disease, stroke, diabetes. Of course, I hope this - combined with the lowcarb diet and excercise - will aide in loosing the weight. So far, I have had SLOWWWW results. But I feel I must keep in mind that I've been dealing with this for over 16 years so even if its one pound a week - THAT IS PROGRESS! And I do think my body is a bit in shock that it is being "tricked" by a whole new method/approach. Sherry
