Hi Deb, I've been on MET for a week and so far the side effects are very tolerable, (thirst, loss of appetite somewhat, was a little gassy/nauseas the first few days) but if you up the dosage slowly, the side effects can be minimal. Perhaps searching the archives on MET and reading up on it may help you with your decision. Bring everything you find to your doctor and discuss with him/her. So much has changed in the treatment of PCO in the last five years. Good luck! And keep us posted! :)Monica
