Re: Gluc, BP, and Carbs

I recently started taking Glucophage. I have lost only five pounds. However, my cholesteral has decreased by more than 25 points, I'm having somewhat normal menstrual cycles, and my energy has increased. I was taking Mircette BCP but had to discontinue its use. As with all other BCP's I suffered from nausea and intense lower stomache pain daily. Because of my high cholesteral I have followed a low-cholesteral/low-fat diet (without success). Since it has been my lifestyle for the past 15 years I continue to do so.
