Hi, Cathy,
It's nice to hear from someone who's just starting MET, too. When I
upped from 500mg after three days to 1000 mg I got very naseaus
(spelling) for almost two days and had a terrible headache. I decided
to go back down to 500mg yesterday because I couldn't take it anymore.
(I have 3 small children and an unsupportive husband). I'll going to
call my doc today. As a side note, when he prescribed the MET he never
said anything about drinking alcohol, neither did the pharmacist for
that matter. The doc said my chances of gettin lactic acidosis was one
in a million. But now I'm wondering, too, if I should be more
