Sue, what were your initial symptoms of lactic acidosis? I've just started the MET last week - 3 days of 500 mg 1x a day, now i'm on 500mg 2x a day for 14 days, then i'm to increase to 850mg 2x a day for a couple of months until I get blood work done again.
