Well, alcohol dehydrates you - shuts the kidneys down (no need to discuss liver issues). What does that do to those of us on Met? We can get lactic acidosis if we don't drink enough liquids, and shut out kidneys down.

If you drink one or two occasionally, I wouldn't worry about it (I drink like that, never had a problem).
