Re: Met and weight loss

Even though I lost 30 lbs on Met (w/o exercise or a proper diet), I do know that many women when they under eat have this "thing" that their body does - will store every ounce of food it can, (weight gain) in case of starvation - which is, kind of, what you're doing. That explains the sluggishness that you feel, too. Don't forget, we're designed to be baby making machines, our body will do everything to preserve that ability, and I'd guess that's what it's doing.

So - start eating, and getting the metabolism up!

>Hi, I've been on met for just under two months. My side effects have more or less gone. (They were never too bad). I've yet to have a period, and I've gained weight. Its no mystery, I've been eating poorly, including sweets and other carbs. I shared before that I was Somersizing, and I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of it (not the diet's fault!!!). I always knew from what I'd read that the met isn't a weight loss drug. By using it, I can more effectively metabolize my food, but I still need to take action in order to lose weight. If I could sit here and honestly say I was eating properly, and I still gained the four pounds I've gained, I'd be bummed. But, that is not the case!!!
