Melissa, What did your MD do to diagnose you with PCOS? Did s/he do any testing? If not, you may ask him/her to do an insulin level blood test. That may help in the convincing to prescribe Glucophage. Also, do you have a MD other than the Gyn? You could ask for a referral for a different Gyn or to an Endocrinologist. Good Luck, Stephanie
