Cindi- I too gained weight on Avandia. My doctor put me on it to help me loose, unfortunatley I feel the medication made it so I could not loose weight. I saw my doctor today and she took me off of it. She said if it's not helping me loose weight that it isn't working. She is looking into putting me on Met. I too have to loose over 100 lbs. I am hoping the met will help. Have you ever been on Met by itself and if so did it help you to loose weight? Jen At Tue, 25 Jul 2000, Cindi wrote: >
