Thank you so much Polly for the reply.

I have since had a look at the archives as suggested by someone else in this forum, and got lots more information, so sorry that I seem to have asked all the same questions as other newcomers, it just is so great to realise that other people have this as I'd never heard of it before.

None of these tests have been done as far as I know anyway, so I will discuss with my consultant at my next appointment. Do you think it best not to get the prescription for bromocryptine 'till I know more?

Should I ask for a scan or is that not worth doing? Is surgery usual with PCOs or do people usually treat it with these drugs? any idea if they are available in UK?
