Being a teenager with PCOS is very difficult. We are here to help you through it though so hang on. For starters, why not at least give a low carb diet a try, it may or may not help. Go to http://www.pcosupport.org and find all the information they have, then take what you can to your doctor and see if they will prescribe glucophage. The glucophage in conjunction with a low carb diet, usually helps with the weight loss. The facial hair is probably caused by excess androgens which can also be controlled with medications like spironolactone. Another good site to visit is http://www.soulcysters.com. You might find a story there that will encourage your heart to not give up. I know it's hard, but try to keep your chin up and get your mom or dad to help with getting the doctors to treat you correctly.
