Re: Clomid and Pcos, side effect???From: Arcy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 19 Jul 2000 08:17:20 -0700
I had the same situation last month but I only was taking 25mg of clomid, to make things worst my period never arrived for this month so I was sent to take a pregnancy test and it was negative so now I have to take provera, hopefully this second cycle of clomid has lesser side effects. I'm also taking met on 1000mg a day. -----Original Message----- From: Carol [SMTP:anonymous@obgyn.net Sent: Tuesday, July 18, 2000 7:07 PM To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS-MEDICATION Subject: Clomid and Pcos, side effect??? I hope this is the right place to ask this. I am taking clomid 100 mg. Today is CD 12 and 3 days since my last clomid. Yesterday I noticed my lower back hurt like it does right before I get a period. This morning I had some spotting and my back hurt even more. It felt just like I was going to start but I didnt. I did an OPK and had a positive LH surge. Is it possible to ovulate that quickly? Could the spotting be from ovulation? I did have some pain my ovaries yesterday. I have read so much on my PCOs and I know that the spotting is probably a good sign... but not the cramps. Even my DR was surprised by it. She is new to treating PCO. Thanks Carol
