Vena -- thanks for the response! I'm going to give a wider distribution a try. I used the stuff for about 2 years several years ago,a nd had what I thought was a very good response. But then I stopped for 3 months and gobs of hair came tumbling out. So I restarted 15 months ago and have been disappointed that I don't seem to be having as good a response as the first time around. I'm going to just keep it up and try the wider distribution, since concentrating on the front may not be as helpful if that is where it is most difficult to have an effect. By the way, had you been losing your hair for a long time before you started the minoxidil? I'm 45 nwo and have been experiencing thinning since I was about 20, so I'm not sure whether the follicles are completely dead by now. I'll give the Nioxin a try too. Thanks again -- Alina
