Hi Beth, my teen daughter has been on 1,500mg of metformin, 100mg of spironolactone, and Ovcon35 for almost a year. She has had great results with it. the metformin has helped her body return to its former shape and size (she had rapidly gained weight.) The hair growth if much better, lighter and finer. She still has trouble with depression and anxiety from time to time but, overall, she is so much better! She has just turned 17 so it's tough! She is also super sensitive to progestins in any birth control pill. All in all, she has made tremendous progress, looks wonderful, and feels much better! Take care, Molly -----Original Message----- From: Beth <anonymous@obgyn.net> To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS-MEDICATION <pcos-medication@forum.obgyn.net> Date: Saturday, July 15, 2000 5:03 PM Subject: Re: New to all this.
