Hi Kathy,
I have been on 4 mgs of Avandia for a little over a month. During the
the fourth week, I did have a period which made me very happy. As for
weight loss, I lost a couple of lgs and know that this will continue as
long as I get a period every month. In August, I will see my dr and
perhaps increase my Avandia dose if the weight loss does not continue. I
think it will be slow, but steady.
Taking Avandia is a great idea for you since you had problems with
Glucophage. I am surprised you tolerated it for so long since my
experience with it lasted less than a week.
Let us know how you're doing and know that you're not alone.
