Yes, I think depression is a big part of PCOS for many women. It has been for my teen daughter. It turns out that she is very sensitive to the progestins in many birth control pills and feels better off them or at least on a different type. Hormonal balance plays a crucial part in depression. Have you and your doctor looked at all your medications and possible interactions? Also many women with PCOS feel so much better when they low carb or combine diet with an insulin sensitizer. And let's face it, PCOS can just be a "yuk" thing to have. Please feel free to seek our support....we understand!

There's another Molly on the list....I'm the older one, just turned 50 today. I have PCOS and never knew it but my daughter has a pretty tough case of it!
