ANYONE ON ACTOS FOR PCOS??

I have pcos and was on Rezulin until it was pulled from the market.I loved it because it really regulated my cycles and helped me ovulate. I FELT NORMAL!! My RE switched me to Actos and I have only been on it since May and can't really tell if it works as well as Rezulin. Although I have had one 34 day cycle since switching and am on day 13 of my 2nd Actos cycle, so maybe it is working?! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else is on Actos? I mostly just see that women are on metformin and I am starting to think my Re was wrong to put me on Actos. Is Actos just such a new drug that many don't know of it yet(I would like to think that my RE is on the leading edge of things!LOL!) Or is Actos not the best choice and that is why I am not seeing many women on it? I have never been on metformin and from what I read, it has some yucky side-effects, so maybe that is why he put me on Actos. Any thoughts? Tracy
