I'm 24, have PCOS, and have been on and off Spironolactone and various kinds of BCPs for about 7 years. I've been on 200mg Spironolactone and Mircette (BCP) now for a few months. I've always noticed that Spironolactone has had an affect on my mentrual cycles: at one time it seemed to regulate my period without BCP. Now, even though I'm on Mircette, my bleeding is irregular and lasts only 2 days. Does any one know the relationship between Spironolactone and menstruation?
