If you don't need to worry with getting pregnant, why even use bcp??
Sounds like your GYN is just trying to treat the symptoms instead of
attempting to get at the root of the problem. You may need to see an
endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist to get the proper
treatment. Drugs in the anti-androgen family will help with the hair
problem and probably help the acne a little. I have horrible acne as
well and the Met is helping somewhat. I am not on any bcp. Hope this
helps a little.
