Dear Abha,

What are you doing about the high prolactin???? Hyperprolactinemia is a cause of infertility. I took a drug called Dostinex twice per week for about a year to bring my prolactin level down and it has not returned. I was on Met after that and am now pregnant.

Also, I had perfectly regular periods for years while I kept my weight down as a result of heavy exercise. Only when I stopped the exercise and my weight started to creep on did I begin having menstrual irregularities. Further, statistically, 30% of PCOSer's do not have menstrual irregularities. That could be due to something like mine was.

Sincerely, Maggie
