Thanks in advance. Last year, I took metaformin (under the care of a dr who knew nothing about it), and would sleep for 9 hours a night and then wake up for an hour or two and go back to bed. I had my blood sugar checked and it was double what it had been before I started the meds. I stopped taking it and my blood sugar went back to normal. See if you can have some tests run or something. Maybe it is too much for you. I don't really know, but I know how horrible it is to sleep all the time!
