Well I'm 43 and haven't reached that phase yet, I'm still trying to have a live baby. You don't say whether you have been taking glucophage for the pcos, as the underlying cause of pcos is most likely hyperinsulinemia, a hysterectomy would not change your insulin production. So, I would think that inspite of no more menses, we would still have pcos, as the female reproductive system is effected by the high insulin not the other way around. So have you ever had a fasting insulin test or a glucose tolerance test w/insulin measurements ever done. Endometrial cancer is one of the complications that pcos can cause, as well as heart disease and diabetes. Hope you haven't been going all these years without treatment to control the pcos.
