I had a period from January 20-May 20. Hindsight taught me that it was a hormonal imbalance caused by PCOS. This had never happened to me in my 37 yrs of life so of course I was alarmed. My gyn gave me a depo shot...BIG MISTAKE. All it did was add weight to my body! I still bled! Natural progesterone didn't work either. I'm now on the BC pill (I fought this idea because I want to be pregnant). Doc says I will only be on it for 3 months to get my hormones back in order. This along with Metformin and Clomid should do the trick. If you ever experience continued bleeding, don't fight it...that only prolongs the ordeal. Go on the pill and get your body back in line.
