My status on Metformin

I was the one who posted about a week ago wondering why I wasn't suffering any of the symptoms. Well that has now changed. I went up to 1500 mg on Sunday. I have bouts of nausea and diarreah but nothing too bad. I've also lost about 7 lbs since I started met 3 wks ago. This is most likely just water weight.

I haven't changed my eating patterns too much but have noticed that I've lost my appetite for a lot of foods. Of course, unfortunately, McDs still sounds quite appetizing. I started doing aerobics 6x/wk for about hour regularly since January. It was always frustrating because I would work out so hard and couldn't lose a lb. Hopefully being on met will making losing the weight easier.

I find that when I take met with certain foods it doesn't seem to affect me as much. So far I find if my meal has milk or peanut butter in it I don't get as sick. Any other tricks anyone has learned?
