Maggie - thanks for your message! I was trying to low-carb. Over the
weekend, I have gone back to eating more the way that I have in the past
- a more balanced diet - and I have felt better. I didn't make the
connection, so thank you for your insight! I too like to walk for
exercise. Exercise and diet and Met were having no effect at all. I
went to Weight Watchers over a year ago before going on Met, and I lost
33 lbs! I gained back about 12 lbs. due to quitting the meetings when
my mother passed away, and then sliding into the holidays in a depressed
mood. Not a good combination! Then I went on Met and started
low-carbing thinking that was the answer. Now I am toying with the idea
of Weight Watchers again. It worked in the past, maybe it would again.
I know that I was much happier being able to eat what I like in small
portions, as opposed to being forced to eat meat and cheese and eggs and
other things that I really don't like.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Thanks again for your words of
encouragement! Kathy
