I suppose I should count my lucky stars but I'm afraid it's not working! I started about a week and a half ago at 500mg and have been on 1000mg for the last week. In a couple of days I'll switch to 1500mg. Did anyone else have this? Does it take awhile for the symptoms to kick in? I haven't seen any weight loss but was told it takes a couple of weeks before the metformin starts working.
