Don't tolerate such terrible behavior from your doctors. Go to the
official PCOS website and print the articles and bring them to your
docs. Show them that metformin has become the common treatment for
pcos. In addition, aldactone (spironolactone) is helpful as well. I
take only 25mg of aldactone and only 500mg of metformin and it has
helped me tremendously. Don't give up and don't accept their lack of
respect for you. Best of luck
